Boil Water Advisory: MOT Area

The Town of Happy Valley- Goose Bay is advising residents that the necessary repairs to the Water Distribution System in the MOT area have now been completed. The areas that were affected include:

Macdonald Drive – Addresses 38 to 97

MacKenzie Drive

Thompson Drive

Mealy Mountain Drive

Barret Street

Valley View Drive

Hale Street

St Laurent Street

Eagle River Credit Union

Terrys Tents

The Golf Course Suites

Edmunds Crescent

This shut-off was necessary to complete repairs and because of this interruption, the Town is now issuing a Boil Water Advisory for the above-mentioned streets. The Boil Water Advisory will likely remain in effect until early next week, a further notice for the Lifting of the Boil Water Advisory will be made to the public when it is deemed safe to do so.

Residents on these streets are advised to bring water that you might ingest to a rigorous rolling boil for one (1) minute.

For Example, boil water used for:

Drinking

Brushing teeth

Making juice from concentrate and powders

Cooking

Washing fruits and vegetables

Making tea, coffee and other hot drinks

Making infant formula and cereals
