The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Public Works Department is advising residents and business that the necessary emergency repairs to the water distribution system the below-mentioned areas will experience traffic disruptions from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM on Friday, August 16, 2019. Areas affected are:
- The intersection of Grand Street & Grenfell Street
- The intersection of Courte Manche & Grenfell Street
Please note that access will be provided to residents going to the below business/organizations in the area, such as:
- Mokami Status of Women Centre
- Canada Post – Station B
- Scotia Bank
The Public is further advised that residences in this area MAY experience water interruptions during this timeframe.
Town Crews will have all applicable Safety Signage visible and motorists are encouraged to exercise caution in and around the area.
Residents are also reminded that the entire Valley area (Voisey Drive/Mealy Mountain Collegiate to all Valley area) is currently under a Boil Water Advisory.
