Town Welcomes News of Minister Trimper Appointment to Cabinet
(Happy Valley-Goose Bay NL) – The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is welcoming the news of Lake Melville MHA Perry Trimper taking on the portfolio of Municipal Affairs & Environment.
Minister Trimper has been a great asset to the 12th Council of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, and the Town looks forward to a continued good working relationship.
His Worship, Mayor Wilson (Wally) Andersen stated: “As Mayor of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, our Council is pleased to learn of Minister Trimper’s appointment to the Cabinet Table. As MHA and Speaker of the House of Assembly, Minister Trimper has been a great resource to myself and Council, and no doubt that as Minister for the Department of Municipal Affairs & Environment, Minister Trimper will be an even stronger advocate for our community and indeed the region as a whole.”
