Potential Water Shut-off: Paddon Road

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is advising residents of a potential urgent water shut-off scheduled for today, Friday, January 17, 2020, due to emergency repairs to the Water Distribution Line. Crews are onsite and residents are advised of a Water Interruption that will occur at any time. Crews hope to have repairs completed and water restored by 4:00 PM. The area to be affected include:

 

Paddon Road

 

This shut-off is necessary to complete emergency repairs to the Water Distribution Line, supplying the Paddon Road area. As a result of this interruption, the Town will be issuing a Boil Water Advisory (once the work has been completed and water restored) for this area until further notice.

 

Regarding Boil Water Advisories:

Residents are advised to bring water that you might ingest to a rigorous rolling boil for one (1) minute.

 

For Example, boil water used for:

 

Drinking

Brushing teeth

Making juice from concentrate and powders

Cooking

Washing fruits and vegetables

Making tea, coffee, and other hot drinks

Making infant formula and cereals
