Physically Distant Physically Active Photo Contest

The Happy Valley-Goose Bay Department of Community Services & Recreation announces a new contest to encourage residents to be Physically Distant but Physically Active at the same time.

Between now and March 5, 2021, get outside and enjoy our fantastic winter. Did you know that the Province’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Janice Fitzgerald, recommends outdoor activities as long as you can be Physically Distant?

So get outside, breathe in that fresh air. We want to see the physically distant activities you embark on, whether it’s cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, sliding, ice fishing, or even on a good old-fashioned Boil Up.

We will put your name in for a draw for one of ten gift cards on Monday, March 8, 2021.

The deadline for submissions is 4:00 PM, Friday, March 5, 2021.
