2019 Santa Claus Parade – “Cabin Christmas”
Important Parade Information
Release Date: November 6, 2019
The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Santa Claus Parade will take place on Saturday, December 7th, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. The parade will begin on Green Street and travel down Hamilton River Road, ending at the College of the North Atlantic Campus.
The theme of the 2019 Santa Claus Parade is “Cabin Christmas.”
In the interest of public safety, the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay once again stress to those attending the Parade from the side of Hamilton River Road, please use extreme caution and care and not step onto the roadside and/or approach the Floats at any time during the parade. Throwing Candy and or Treats from Floats is not permitted. Treat Bags will be handed out by Santa to children at the College of the North Atlantic Gym following the parade.
The deadline for registration of Floats is Noon, Monday, December 2nd, 2019.

Winners will be announced immediately following the 2019 Santa Claus Parade in the College of the North Atlantic Gymnasium. The 2019 Registered Floats will be judged in the following categories:
- Best Adherence to Theme – “Cabin Christmas“
- Best Illuminated Float
- Best Commercial Float
- Best Decorated Float
The 2018 Santa Claus Parade saw a record 37 Floats, congratulations to last year’s winners:
- Best Adherence to Theme “Elf on the Shelf“ – Labrador Correctional Centre
- Best Illuminated Float – Cabot Auto
- Best Commercial Float – Pike’s Home Hardware
- Best Decorated Float – Precision Auto
