German Army Working Around Goose Bay and 5 Wing

5 Wing Goose Bay would like to advise the public that German Army personnel will be conducting training on the base and its training grounds from January 14 to March 8, 2022.
Work will now begin in and around 5 Wing and its training areas as it does every year. The German Army comes to our community for training every winter and the work that is done in the fall leads to success every year. All restrictions and precautionary measures related to COVID-19 Alert level 4 will be heavily exercised.
5 Wing requests that the public remains clear of the PTA to ensure the safety of all those involved.
