Emergency Water Shut-off – Emergency Water Line Repairs

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay advises residents that an emergency water shut-off is required beginning Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 10:30 AM, due to necessary repairs needed to the Water Distribution Line. Crews estimate the required repairs will take until 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
The area to be affected include:
Markland Road – From Civic Address #33 to #73
Markland Road – From Civic Address #32 to #74
This water shut-off is necessary to complete emergency repairs to the Water Distribution Line supplying the area mentioned above. As a result of this interruption, the Town will be issuing a Boil Water Advisory (once the work has been completed and water restored) for this area until further notice.
Residents in the area mentioned above will experience a complete loss of water until approximately 3:00 PM, Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
Crews will have heavy equipment operating in the area, and all appropriate safety signage and flags persons will be on-site for the duration of the repairs.
