HMCS Goose Bay to visit Happy Valley-Goose Bay

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is pleased to announce that Her Majesty’s Canadian Ship (HMCS) Goose Bay will arrive at the port of Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Thursday, September 2, 2021, for a namesake visit from September 2 – 5, 2021.
HMCS Goose Bay will be offering public tours from 9:00 AM -12:00 PM on Saturday, September 4, 2021. Tours will be upper decks only and will be weather-dependent.
HMCS Goose Bay will follow COVID-19 Protocols and require everyone to wear a non-medical mask and practice social distancing throughout the tour. Hand Sanitizer will be made available. The ship’s crew will be following these protocols as well.
The tours will be conducted in small groups of no more than ten individuals at one time and will last approximately 30 minutes. Unfortunately, no washrooms will be available.
