Please see below information related to the ongoing construction activities taking place at Goose River Bridge. Please note that the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is not responsible for the information contained within the contractor’s PSA.
Please further note that the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay has confirmed with the Contractor CCS that Emergency First Responder vehicles such as Ambulance and RCMP will be permitted to cross the bridge as needed.

PSA Bridge Closure: Goose River Bridge
Due to required repairs on the Goose River Bridge – Route 520, starting the week of September 20 -22 there will be full bridge closures while the contractor is onsite completing repairs. Please pay close attention to construction signage and workers in the area.
Bridge closures will be 9-11am, 12-2pm & 3-5pm daily.
During full bridge closures, no traffic will be permitted on the bridge. Closures are expected to last for 2 hrs each at which time, the bridge will be opened to traffic for the following 60 minutes and all traffic will be cleared.
