Scheduled Water Shut-off – Upgrades to Water Distribution Field

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay advises residents and businesses that a necessary water shut-off is required beginning Thursday, September 16, 2021, at 10:00 AM, due to necessary upgrades to the Water Distribution Field. Crews estimate the required upgrades will take until 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 16, 2021.
The area to be affected include:
Northside (Canadian Side) – All Residential & Businesses
This water shut-off is necessary to complete required upgrades to the Water Distribution Field supplying the area mentioned above. As a result of this interruption, the Town will be issuing a Boil Water Advisory (once the work has been completed and water restored) for this area until further notice.
Residents in the area mentioned above will experience a complete loss of water until approximately 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 16, 2021.
