The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Public Works Department advises motorists that JCL Ltd. will be carrying out construction activities in the MacDonald Drive Area. The contractor expects to shut down a section of MacDonald Drive on Saturday, October 16, 2021, to install a Storm Chamber.
Area to be affected:
- MacDonald Drive – Saturday, October 16, 2021
JCL Ltd. advises the above schedule is subject to change. However, the Town will attempt to keep residents updated as soon as the contractor provides information.
JCL Ltd. will have all applicable Safety Signage visible and Flag Persons in place; motorists are encouraged to exercise caution in and around the area mentioned above as the necessary upgrades to storm drainage infrastructure occur.
Motorists may experience detours and prolonged commutes at peak times.
