Councillor Joe Tremblett – Chair, Enforcement & Emergency Services Committee

Councillor Joe Tremblett moved to Happy Valley-Goose Bay with his family when he was 9 years old and has called this community home ever since. Along with his wife Nellie (married for 19 years, together for 28 years), they raised their 3 sons; Matthew, Joel and Kyle, and are also proud grandparents to Gracie and Joey.

Councillor Tremblett was elected to the 12th Council of the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay in a March 2018 by-election, and since elected he currently serves as Chair of the Enforcement and Emergency Services Committee and is a member of the Economic Development and Public Engagement Committee.

Councillor Tremblett has been an active member of the community, for many years currently serving as a member of the Happy Valley-Goose Bay Kinsmen and is a past member of the Happy Valley-Goose Bay Lion’s Club. Rooted in the community, Councillor Tremblett has been employed with Canada Post since 1990 and currently holds the position of Regional Superintendent.
