Ella Wallace was born and raised in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
After University in Montreal, she relocated to Florida and Eastern Caribbean to work in the cruise industry. Shortly after 911, she and her husband moved to Australia to be near his family.
Throughout her career in Sports and Events Management, Ella has been an active volunteer throughout Canberra, whilst raising her two daughters.
Ella went on to own and operate her own successful business for a number of years before the opportunity of returning back home to Happy Valley-Goose Bay in 2017. After returning to her hometown, Ella has managed and operated her Family business.
Since returning home, Ella has been an active volunteer throughout the community, within our schools, sports community as well as community organizations. Ella has been a past board member of Valley Danceworks Inc, a current board member of Lawrence O’Brien Arts Centre and a current board member of Lake Melville Soccer Club.
Deputy Mayor Ella Wallace was elected to the 13th Council in October 2021 and she proudly looks forward to serving and representing the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
