PUBLIC SAFETY NOTICE: Possible Thin Ice Conditions for Snowmobiles

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

March 9, 2017

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is advising the public of possible thin ice conditions along the Churchill River, in the area of:

Maxwell’s to the D’s Landing

Individuals using snowmobiles are asked to take extra precautions in this area, due to open water and possible poor ice conditions along this route.

The Town is asking for the public’s assistance in spreading this message.
