Information for the Public

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Public Works Department is advising residents and business that due to necessary emergency repairs to the water distribution system the below-mentioned areas will experience traffic disruptions from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM on Thursday, August 15, 2019. Areas affected are:

• The intersection of Grand Street & Grenfell Street
• The intersection of Courte Manche & Grenfell Street

Please note that access will be provided to residents going to the below business/organizations in the area, such as:

• Mokami Status of Women Centre
• Canada Post – Station B
• Scotia Bank

The Public is further advised that residences in this area MAY experience water interruptions during this timeframe.

Residents are also reminded that the entire Valley area (Voisey Drive/Mealy Mountain Collegiate to all Valley area) is currently under a Boil Water Advisory.

Town Crews will have all applicable Safety Signage visible and motorists are encouraged to exercise caution in and around the area.
