Emergency Repairs: Spruce Park Area

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is advising residents of an urgent water shut-off & Water Line Repair that occurred yesterday, Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Crews have completed the repairs, and water has been restored. The areas listed below are now under a Boil Water Advisory:
Spruce Park Area:
Brook Crescent (entire street)
Spruce Avenue – #1 to #27
Woodland – #1 to #10
Park Drive – #1 to #4
This emergency shut-off was necessary to complete emergency repairs to the Water Distribution Line supplying above mentioned residences in the Spruce Park area. As a result of this interruption, the Town is issuing a Boil Water Advisory for the above-listed addresses until further notice.
Regarding Boil Water Advisories:
Residents are advised to bring water that you might ingest to a rigorous rolling boil for one (1) minute.
For Example, boil water used for:
Drinking
Brushing teeth
Making juice from concentrate and powders
Cooking
Washing fruits and vegetables
Making tea, coffee, and other hot drinks
Making infant formula and cereals
