The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is always proud to acknowledge our community’s dedicated Fire Department, especially today. May 4 is International Firefighters Day. It is a day where the international firefighting community is recognized for their dedication and sacrifice.

Led by Fire Chief Brad Butler, the dedicated men and women of the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Fire Department services the Upper Lake Melville area, including 150kms on the Trans-Labrador Highway. The Department of over 40 Firefighters provides fire and emergency services within town limits.

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is offering sincere gratitude for our Fire Department. If you happen to see one of our Firefighters honk your horn or simply say “Thank You”.
