Emergency Water Line Repairs – Valleyview Drive Area

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Water & Sewer Department advises residents and businesses that Emergency Repairs to the Water Line on Valleyview Drive will begin today, Friday, May 21, 2021 and is expected to be completed at 4:00 PM. The areas listed below will experience complete water disruption during the repairs.

Areas affected:

• Hale Street – both sides of the street
• Valley View Drive – #2 to # 28 & #1 to #29

Residences and businesses in and around the Valleyview Drive area may already be experiencing a lower than usual water pressure or complete loss of water pressure and possible discoloration of water. If discoloration occurs, please run taps until it clears.

The locations mentioned above will experience a total loss of water throughout the repairs to the Water Line.

Residents and businesses at the locations mentioned above will be under a Boil Water Advisory once repairs are complete and water is restored.

The Boil Water Advisory will be necessary due to the disruption of water pressure in the Water Distribution System.
