2021 Virtual Canada Day Broadcast Cancelled

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay advises the public to closely monitor information related to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Though restrictions are easing due to current public health guidelines and conditions on public gatherings, the annual Canada Day Celebrations at Kinsmen Park will not occur for 2021. Furthermore, the 2021 Virtual Canada Day Broadcast is canceled due to a lack of response in a call for musicians.

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is looking forward to 2022 when the Annual Canada Day Celebrations can once again occur at Kinsmen Park. It is clear from past years that the event at Kinsmen Park was an official kick-off to the summer season for the thousands in attendance.
