Scheduled Water Shut-off – Water Line Repairs

As the weather has improved, the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay advises residents that the water shut-off scheduled for today, Monday, September 27, 2021, at 9:00 AM, will now proceed as planned.

The area to be affected include:

East end of Markland Road – From Civic Address #2 to #40

East end of Markland Road – From Civic Address #1 to #33

This water shut-off is necessary to complete repairs to the Water Distribution Line supplying the area mentioned above. As a result of this interruption, the Town will be issuing a Boil Water Advisory (once the work has been completed and water restored) for this area until further notice.

Residents in the area mentioned above will experience a complete loss of water until 2:00 PM, today, Monday, September 27, 2021.

Crews will have heavy equipment operating in the area, and all appropriate safety signage and flags persons will be on-site for the duration of the repairs.

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
