The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is advising the public that the Town Hall & Municipal Landfill (Dump) will be closed Monday, October 11, 2021, in observance of the Thanksgiving Day Holiday, and will reopen Tuesday, October 12, 2021.

The Municipal Landfill will be:

OPEN Saturday, October 9 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

CLOSED Sunday, October 10

CLOSED Monday, October 11

OPEN Tuesday, October 12 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Municipal Landfill Regular Hours of Operation:

OPEN: Monday to Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

CLOSED: Sundays and on the following Statutory Holidays:

• New Year’s Day
• Good Friday
• Easter Monday
• Victoria Day
• Discovery Day now referred to as “June Day”
• Canada Day
• August Civic Holiday
• Labour Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Remembrance Day
• Christmas Day
• Boxing Day (reduced hours)
