Christmas Tree Disposal

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Public Works Department advises residents to place organic Christmas trees behind the EJ Broomfield Memorial Arena for proper disposal. Please note that there will not be a roadside pickup of Organic Christmas Trees this year.

This service is for organic (natural) Christmas trees only. Artificial Christmas Trees are not permitted.

Please remove all decorations before putting your tree behind the EJ Broomfield Memorial Arena.

This spring, all organic Christmas trees will be mulched in the Town’s mobile wood chipper. In addition, the Town will use organic waste for future landscaping and recreational purposes throughout the community.
