Snow clearing on Dome Mountain Road

January 12, 2022 – Happy Valley-Goose Bay – Canadian Armed Forces

5 Wing Goose Bay would like to advise the public that heavy equipment will perform snow clearing on Dome Mountain Road effective immediately, in order to conduct maintenance on the DND power line. This work is expected to last 24-48 hours.

During the snow removal process there will be barricades in place to block access to the Dome Mountain road and trail while work is in progress. Once the road has been cleared the barricades will be removed and the road will be open.

For safety reasons 5 Wing would like to advise that the public avoid this area until snow removal equipment has completed work and been removed from the area.
