Town Lowers Flags in Honour of Tom Abbott Sr.

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is saddened to have learned of the passing of a former long-time resident, Tom Abbott Sr.
Tom Abbott Sr. was a respected member of the community and well known by many and served as a volunteer firefighter with the HVGB Fire Department for an excess of 30 years.
The 13th Council, Management, and Staff of the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay offer sincere condolences to Tom’s family and friends.
In honour of Tom Abbott Sr.’s dedication to the community of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, flags in front of Town Hall will fly at half-mast until sunset of the day of his service.
