COVID-19 visitor screening changes at Labrador-Grenfell Health Facilities

Following Provincial changes to COVID-19 guidelines, Labrador-Grenfell Health has removed COVID-19 visitor screening tables at all facility entrances.

To help keep patients, residents, and staff safe and healthy, visitors with COVID-19 symptoms (or any flu or cold symptoms) are asked not to visit patients or residents in care facilities. If you have symptoms like fever, new or worsening cough, sore throat, acute loss of sense of smell or taste, new onset of muscle aches, or other symptoms (//gov.nl.ca/covid-19) please delay your visit and call 8-1-1.

All visitors to Labrador-Grenfell Health facility must:

  • Sanitize hands.
  • Wear a medical mask (provided).
  • Show proof of COVID-19 vaccination if visiting a long-term care facility.

Visitation restrictions for specific facilities and/or units may change in response to COVID-19 activity.
