Happy Valley – Goose Bay, NL – The Town Hall flags are at half-mast in honour and memory of the late RCMP Inspector Tony Perry.

Inspector Perry was a well-respected and dedicated member of our local Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP Detachment. He was a beloved community member with incredible volunteerism spirit and he will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and working with him.

As head of the Labrador Division, Inspector Perry’s involvement in municipal operations and public events exuded the well-connected role of RCMP Officers in our community.

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Inspector Tony Perry. The RCMP are an integral part of our community and today we share their loss,” expressed Mayor Jamie Snook. “We are extremely grateful for the working relationship and partnership with Inspector Perry and the entire Happy Valley-Goose Bay Detachment. Our sincerest thoughts and condolences are with his family, friends and members of the Force at this difficult time.”

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay expresses its gratitude for Inspector Perry’s exemplary work as a prominent community leader and are confident that his memory will live on in the community by all who knew him.
