This year as in other years, the Town is encouraging residents to re-consider what goes roadside. Maybe the items can be sold, donated or given away. This is all in an effort to reduce what goes to the Municipal Landfill.
If you have something that may still be reusable, maybe post it to your Facebook page so that anyone who may have a use for it can come by and pick it up.

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay reminds residents to be mindful of what they put at the roadside not only during spring cleanup but year-round with weekly roadside garbage pick up.
Our community is fortunate to have groups, organizations and businesses that can and are happy to assist in keeping unnecessary items out of the Municipal Landfill.
