The Lake Melville Xtreme Minor Hockey Association
@LMXMHA Under 13 Division is pleased to announce it has submitted a “PITCH” for the
Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup and to ensure they win, they need your help!

What is the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup?
It is a Canada Wide contest that encourages young hockey teams to get out and get involved in their community.

Division Reps from the parent committee also have some great ideas on how to get the other divisions involved in volunteering. I have a feeling there may be some challenges coming out in the near future.

What Good Deed is the LMXMHA U13 doing?:
From February 1st, 2021 to March 31st, 2021 the @LMXMHA Under 13 Division will be collecting food for the Homeless Shelter. Each week they will send out the food suggestion list based on the needs of the Shelter.
This is an opportunity for our entire community to support the LMXMHA U13 group in their bid to give back to our community.
LMXMHA has partnered with the Terrington Coop to prepare “brown bag” lunches each week. The assembly of the “brown bag” lunches will be done by players in the U13 Division, guided by volunteer parents; all Covid friendly!!
The weekly food collection, as well as the brown-bagged lunches, will be delivered to the shelter each week by the @LMXMHA U13 group.
If the LMXMHA U13 Division wins the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup, the Housing Hub will receive $100,000!!!!
What does the LMXMHA U13 need from you?
Support from the community is critical for the LMXMHA U13 Division to make this a success.
The contest takes place on Twitter so if you don’t have a Twitter account we encourage you to create one, if you have one start following your maximum allowable per day, focus on drawing attention to this contest.
