A FREE six week series of sessions that meet once a week for about 2.5 hours every Monday evening starting Feb 10th. The content of the workshop is aimed at adults who live with a long term health condition – that is something that will not go away – like high blood pressure, diabetes, anxiety, heart disease, stroke, asthma, depression, high cholesterol, incontinence, thyroid disease, cancer, chronic pain, obesity, psoriasis.
At the workshop series no one is required to disclose their medical condition(s).
Information is given and discussed on a variety of topics each week including,
Learning about medication management and healthy eating
•Learning better ways to communicate with their doctor, healthcare team, family and friends
•Discovering exercises to help improve strength, flexibility and energy
