Seniors and elders in the Upper Lake Melville Area are invited to attend the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay’s second annual Seniors Social on:
Date: Wednesday, December 14th
Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Location: Broomfield Memorial Arena, Clyde’s Room
Schedule
9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Welcoming social with refreshments
10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Professionals in internet safety, exercise and wellness, fall prevention and nutrition will facilitate café style discussions
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Physical activity and free skating
12:15 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. Attendance gifts and prizes
This event is hosted by the municipality’s Department of Community Services and Recreation in partnership with: Labrador-Grenfell Health, Labrador Friendship Centre, and the Goose Bay RCMP.
