The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay proclaimed the week of Oct. 1-7, 2017 as Mental Illness Awareness Week. Taking part in the signing ceremony were: Front (l-r) Councilor Jackie Compton-Hobbs; Deputy Mayor Cora Hamel Pardy; Nichola Park, Labrador-Grenfell Health; Jessica Keating, Libra House. Back, RCMP Insp. Jim Elliott; RCMP Staff Sgt. Robert Gallant; councilors Tony Chubbs, Bert Pomeroy and Wally Andersen; Sondra Spearing, Labrador-Grenfell Health; Emilie L. Angers, Mokami Status of Women; Chelsea Barrett, Supportive Living, Nunatsiavut Government; Stephanie Della Smirra, Labrador-Grenfell Health; and councilor Reg Bowers.
