The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay will be holding its 4th Annual Polar Dip Fundraiser for the Labrador Wellness Centre Project on:

• Registration: 10:30 -11:00 a.m.
• Welcome speech: 11:00 a.m.
• Group Assignment: 11:05 a.m.
• Polar Dip Start: 11:10 a.m.
Location:
Labrador Hunting and Fishing Association Public Boat Launch (Main Dock)
Everyone is invited to drop by the Nunatsiavut Marine Ticket Office afterwards to warm up with some hot beverages and snacks.
Get your PLEDGE SHEET in advance! All participants will be required to sign a WAIVER FORM and photo release form at the event.
Pledge sheets are also available for pick-up at the Town Hall and the E.J. Broomfield Memorial Arena. Completed pledge sheets and funds can be submitted upon arrival at the event.
Happy Valley-Goose Bay Ground Search and Rescue personnel will be on site for the event. In an effort to ensure maximum safety, participants will be entering the water at intervals. Groups will be assigned upon arrival at the event.
All proceeds raised will go towards funding for the Labrador Wellness Centre Project.
The Town encourages all citizens in the Upper Lake Melville area to join in the event by sponsoring a participant and coming out to watch them take the plunge!
