The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is inviting the public to kick off Pride Week 2016 at its 7th Annual Pride Proclamation and Flag Raising Ceremony!
Date & Time: Monday, August 8th from 12:15 – 1:00 p.m.
Location: Town Hall, outside on the front lawn
Community supporters, members of the public and media are invited to attend.
The Town holds this event in partnership with Safe Alliance to show support for our local LGBT2SQQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two spirited, queer, and questioning) community.
Safe Alliance provides support and resources to LGBT2SQQ individuals and is dedicated to raising awareness throughout Labrador on issues relating to homophobia and heterosexism.
We are proud to support Safe Alliance in their mission to foster inclusive, welcoming and loving spaces within our community and in Labrador.
