The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is inviting the community to a Rainbow (Pride) Flag Raising Ceremony in honour of the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia on May 17th.

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is inviting the community to a Rainbow (Pride) Flag Raising Ceremony in honour of the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia on May 17th.

Date/Time: Thursday, May 17th from 12:30 – 1:00 p.m.
Location: In front of the Town Hall, 212 Hamilton River Rd

Community supporters and members of the public and media are invited to attend.

The Town is hosting this event in partnership with Safe Alliance, to show support for our local LGBT2SQQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two spirited, queer, and questioning) community.

Safe Alliance provides support and resources to LGBT2SQQ individuals and is dedicated to raising awareness throughout Labrador on issues relating to homophobia and heterosexism.

We are proud to support Safe Alliance in their mission to foster inclusive, welcoming and loving spaces within our community and in Labrador.
