Mokami Status of Women Council will be hosting its first Shameless Strut! This event is a call for an end to rape culture, including victim blaming and shaming of sexual assault victims. Protest, Rally and a Demonstration for victim blaming of sexual violence for the violence perpetrated against them. No one is responsible for the violence perpetrated against them. No matter what they wear, who they associate with or who they are!
We will meet in the Supreme Courthouse Parking lot in Happy Valley-Goose Bay at 2:30pm on August 31st and head towards MSWC at 43 Grenfell St where we will have a guest speaker and refreshments in the Women’s Centre following the walk.
This walk is open to all genders, free to attend and the dress code is to wear whatever makes you comfortable.
