The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is inviting the community to join in its Annual Santa Claus Parade.
Where: Saturday, December 5th, 6:00 p.m.
When: Along Hamilton River Road from Green Street to the College of the North Atlantic Campus. Fireworks will be set off during the parade from Husky Park.
The 2015 theme, Cartoon Christmas, was chosen by the École Boréale Grade 3, 4 & 5 class. The town is inviting groups, businesses, schools and community members to register a float in the parade that fits the Cartoon Christmas theme.
The community is invited to the College of the North Atlantic gymnasium following the parade for photos with Santa and treats.
Float prizes will be presented for Best Illuminated Entry, Best Decorated, Best Adherence to the Theme of “Cartoon Christmas”, and Best Commercial Entry.
