2019 Summer Recreation Program
Information for the Public

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is pleased to announce our 2019 Summer Recreation Program will run for seven weeks starting July 2nd, 2019.
Please see below Registration information:
- Registration (before July 1st) will only be available to those who wish to register their children for the entire summer (all seven weeks), this will ensure that we have space for all of those children first.
- On July 1st, online registration will be available to parents who wish to select individual weeks of summer rec.
- There will only be online registration available this year, but if individuals need a computer they can come to the EJ Broomfield Memorial Arena at the assigned date of July 1st, 2019 from 9:00 AM to12 Noon OR on Friday afternoons from 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM following the first week of the Summer Recreation Program (July 5th, 2019). Online Registeration
- To allow more focus on Children attending, we will not be accepting any registration on the first day of the week. Appointments can be made for other registration times with the 2019 Summer Recreation Coordinator, Sarah Pilgrim, by contacting 899-2847.
The program will be held at the E.J. Broomfield Memorial Arena. The program is for children ages 6 to 11 years old.
Cost of registration is $80.00 per week for the first child and $40.00 per additional child (under the same caregiver). The 7-week program will start Tuesday, July 2nd between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (with a 15-minute drop-off/pick-up period).
