2020 Municipal Budget – Pre-Budget Consultation for General Public

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is inviting residents to share their input, ideas, and concerns on priorities for the 2020 Municipal Budget. The Town will hold a Pre-Budget Consultation on Wednesday, October 16th, 2019 at 7:00 PM in Council Chambers where residents can address the Council for consideration.
Residents who wish to present during the Pre-Budget Consultation must register as a delegate with the Town by no later than 12 Noon Friday, October 11th, 2019. Delegates will be given 10 minutes for their presentation. If no delegates register by the deadline then the October 16th meeting will not proceed.
Individuals and Organizations are invited to submit their ideas and concerns in writing. Deadline for receipt of submissions is Thursday, October 17th at 4:00 PM.

The Town will be undergoing budget preparations in the coming months with the goal of passing the 2020 Municipal Budget by the end of November 2019.
Council encourages residents to take this opportunity to express their thoughts on important issues and looks forward to receiving feedback from the community.
