2022 Summer Recreation Program

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Department of Community Services & Recreation is pleased to advise the community that the Summer Recreation Program registration for Weeks 5 and 6 will be available online starting Monday, July 25 at 10:00 AM.

The focus of this year’s summer recreation camp is to help a child develop a passion for sports and active living and begin to understand not just how but when to pass, jump, kick etc., in their favourite sports.
Key Skills and Benefits
- Continued gross motor skill development
- Socialization, listening skills, confidence building, coordination, active living
- Growing emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship
- Introduction of more/regular non-competitive team play
Location: EJ Broomfield Arena
Dates: July 4, 2022 – August 26, 2022 (8 Weeks)
(Closed-August 1)
Times: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Options for Fee-Based Early Drop Off 7:30 AM and Late Pick up by 5:30 PM.
Ages: 5-11 years (Must have attended Kindergarten this past school year)
Fees: $100.00 (No HST) per week; (2nd Child $90 and 3rd Child $85)
