Trunk or Treat is back for Halloween 2018!
This year’s event will again take place at the Salvation Army Parking Lot at 39 Churchill Street. The Salvation Army in conjunction with the Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP and the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Public Works Department & Community Constable along with the Happy Valley-Goose Bay Ground Search & Rescue Team will be on hand throughout Churchill Street to assist with posted reduced Speed Limit Signage and Traffic Control.
Trunk or Treat will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with free candy and hot chocolate. The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay along with partnering groups ask that everyone have a great Halloween but please remember these important safety tips:
• Parents ensure children are wearing reflective clothing
• Masks should not impede your sight, and should not prevent in any way your child’s ability to breathe freely
• Remember to inspect your child’s candy before they ingest.
• Motorist throughout Town should exercise extra care and caution and reduce speeds to ensure the safety of trick or treaters.
This year, the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay are providing reflective flashing Halloween flashlights to all K-7 students in Happy Valley-Goose Bay to wear during their Trick-or-Treating.
Please be safe this Halloween!
