The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Animal Control Division is pleased to announce significant improvements to the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Animal Control Kennels.
Under the tutelage of Animal Control Officer Julia Kelland, the Department now has a separate Kennel for any stray Cats that may fall under the Town’s care.
Also of great significance has been removing the CO Chamber, which has not been in use since 2016.
The entire space is much brighter than it used to be.
The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Animal Control Division advises residents that the Town is not in the business of “putting animals down.” Instead, all efforts are exhausted to reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; in instances where animals fall victim to motor vehicle collisions or owners not claiming the animal, consultation with the HVGB SPCA and Valley Vet Clinic.
To be clear, the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay does not euthanize animals.
Members of the 12th Council of the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay toured the updated facility and were quite pleased with the updates.
