Birch Island CLOSED – Until Further Notice

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Public Works Department is advising the public that due to overflow of sewage at Birch Island Lift Station #20 (behind El Greco Restaurant) access to Birch Island is CLOSED to the public.
Town Crews have all applicable Safety Signage in place. In the interest of public health and safety, residents are encouraged to avoid the area.
The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
