Black Bear Advisory LIFTED – Birch Island Boardwalk

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is advising the public that a Bear sighting had been reported to be on the Birch Island Boardwalk on July 9, 2020.

 

The Department of Fisheries and Land Resources, Wildlife Division, have advised the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay on July 11, 2020, that the Black Bear has been removed from the area.

 

Wildlife Officials do not monitor Social Media to track wildlife sightings; therefore, residents are encouraged if they see a Black Bear in the Happy Valley-Goose Bay area, before posting to Social Media please contact:
