Caution around Walking Trail area near Justin Avenue

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Public Works Department informs the public that due to water buildup in the Justin Avenue area, crews are in the process of pumping excess water to the Bike Trail adjacent. Snowmobilers in the area should use caution.
The Town is advising residents that Town Road Crews will continue to address and monitor the situation and place signage in the Justin Avenue area.
Motorists are reminded that Kelland Drive to Churchill Street, Montagnais Road, and many other residential side streets are experiencing continued water pooling, creating/exposing potholes. Please drive with reduced speed and extra caution.
Gravel road conditions to the Municipal Landfill and the gravel section of Corte Real Road are deteriorating, and motorists are encouraged to avoid these sections of gravel road as much as possible.
