Central Labrador YMCA Hits Significant Milestone

The Central Labrador YMCA has reached a significant milestone since first opening its doors in July 2021.
The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay and the YMCA of Newfoundland and Labrador are pleased to announce that in less than six short months and during a pandemic no less, the Central Labrador YMCA has reached an exciting milestone of 1000 YMCA members!
In partnership with the YMCA, the Town is working to address the remaining items left over from construction, which may involve some crews on-site at times. Still, the Town and the CL YMCA will make every effort to minimize disruption to programming in the Town’s facility.
Witnessing the positive impacts thus far has been rewarding, and we are excited about future programs and services offered by the YMCA and further engagement with current and new members in 2022.
COVID-19 restrictions will undoubtedly impact and continue to create challenges; however, the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay and the Central Labrador YMCA is committed to working together to overcome those challenges.
The Central Labrador YMCA is proud to be a part of the community of Happy Valley-Goose Bay and indeed all of Central Labrador.
