Civic Numbering Regulations In Effect

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is advising the public that the 12th Council has passed the new Civic Number Regulations.

 

At a December 15, 2020, meeting of the 12th Council of the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay; Council voted unanimously to pass the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Civic Numbering Regulations which took effect January 1, 2021.

 

At its core, the Regulations are a matter of Public Health & Safety. For many years, Emergency First Responders have highlighted the concerns of the lack of Civic Addresses on both Commercial and Residential structures. This posed significant challenges to First Responders in particular, especially when attempting to respond to a call for emergency services.
