Emergency Water Shut-off – Emergency Water Line Repairs

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay advises residents that an emergency water shut-off is underway due to necessary repairs needed to the Water Distribution Line. Crews estimate the repairs required to take until 2:00 PM Monday, August 30, 2021.
The area to be affected include:
Kessessaskiou Street
This water shut-off is necessary to complete emergency repairs to the Water Distribution Line supplying the area mentioned above. As a result of this interruption, the Town will be issuing a Boil Water Advisory (once the work has been completed and water restored) for this area until further notice.
Residents in the above area will experience complete water loss until approximately 2:00 PM today.
Crews will have heavy equipment operating in the area of #5 Kessessaskiou Street, and all appropriate safety signage and flags persons will be on-site for the duration of the repairs.
