Emergency Water Shut-off: Spruce Park Area

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is advising residents of the Spruce Park Area of an urgent water shut-off in progress today, Tuesday, March 2, 2021, due to emergency repairs to the Water Distribution Line. Water Loss is expected between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM.

 

Crews are onsite to conduct the emergency repair and all required Safety Signage is in place. Motorists are encouraged to drive with caution in and around the area. An attempt will be made to make necessary repairs without complete loss; however, residents in the Spruce Park Area should expect a total loss of water while repairs are underway. Water Loss is expected to be shut off between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM this morning.

 

The area to be affected include:

 

Repairs: Park Drive (vicinity of 89 Park Drive)

Water Loss: All of Spruce Park

 

This emergency shut-off is necessary to complete emergency repairs to the Water Distribution Line supplying the areas mentioned above. As a result of this interruption, the Town will be issuing a Boil Water Advisory (once the work has been completed and water restored) for this area until further notice.
