The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay informs the public that due to the current and expected weather conditions overnight and into tomorrow morning the EJ Broomfield Memorial Arena will remain CLOSED on the morning of Sunday, March 13, 2022.

A further update will be provided at 10:00 AM, Sunday, March 13, 2022, on the potential impact on the remainder of the arena’s scheduled activities.

In an ongoing effort, Public Works Road Crews will carry out snow clearing activities on municipal streets. The Town encourages motorists to not go out unless absolutely necessary and if you do to drive with caution and adjust your driving with the current conditions.

Motorists are also reminded that the On-Street Parking Ban is in effect until April 30, 2022. Please do not park on the side of any municipal street at any time, especially during conditions we are currently facing.
